On Nov. 15, the Hillsboro FFA Chapter hosted Greenhand Night for our new members.

The officers led a meeting in the auditorium to induct new members. During this meeting, we also had committee reports over the National Convention, Job Interview, Ag Day, October meeting, Food Science and the Family Farm and Home community service.

The members also had the opportunity to listen to Luke Jennings, State President, give an awesome speech over knowing your worth through agriculture.

These members were able to bring parents and family to watch them receive such a memorable award. While these members were getting inducted in, other chapter members were able to attend to cheer them on.

Being a Greenhand of FFA requires you to have satisfactory plans for supervised agricultural experiences. During the ceremony, the new inductees were rewarded with their Greenhand pen.

Now that these members hold a place in our chapter, they now have the opportunity to make an impact throughout the Hillsboro FFA.
