Proud to help serve the community and protect the environment, Fairfield FFA recently spent the afternoon of Oct. 8 cleaning up state Route 771, our adopted highway.

With the help of gloves, safety vests, and some enthusiasm, the students worked together to collect bags full of litter and debris along the roadway, creating a clean and welcoming area.

This service project does not only reflect the FFA's dedication to leadership but it also demonstrates the pride our students at Fairfield take in maintaining their hometown.

The FFA chapter extends a thank-you to the members who volunteered to help make a difference all can see within their community.
