Continuing education courses offered this winter through SSCC

Southern State Community College will offer several different continuing education courses at the college’s four campuses this winter. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to courses in which classroom space is available.

  • Photography will meet 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 5 through Jan. 21, 2010, at SSCC’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.
  • Advanced Photography will meet 6-9 p.m., Wednesdays, Jan. 6 through March 17, 2010, at SSCC’s South Campus in Fincastle.
  • Photoshop Elements will meet 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 21 through Feb. 4, 2010, at SSCC’s South Campus in Fincastle.
  • Tae Kwon Do will meet 6:45-8:30 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 4 through March 17, 2010, at the Central Ohio Martial Arts Academy in Wilmington.
  • Aerobics will meet 5:30-6:20 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 5 through March 18, 2010, at the Clinton County YMCA in Wilmington.
  • Introduction to Sign Language will meet 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays, Jan. 5 through Feb. 9, 2010, at SSCC’s Fayette Campus in Washington C.H.
  • Sign Language I will meet 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays, Feb. 16 through March 23, 2010, at SSCC’s Fayette Campus in Washington C.H.
  • Yoga will meet 10-11:40 a.m., Tuesdays, Jan. 5 through March 17, 2010, at the Fayette County YMCA in Washington C.H.
  • Introduction to Exercise Science will meet 2-3:15 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 5 through March 18, 2010, at the Fayette County YMCA in Washington C.H.
  • Spanish for the Healthcare Professional will meet 7-9 p.m., Mondays, Jan. 4 through March 8, 2010, at SSCC’s Fayette Campus in Washington C.H.
  • Basic Drawing will meet 9-11:40 a.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 4 through March 17, 2010, at SSCC’s Fayette Campus in Washington C.H.
  • Basic Drawing will meet 12 noon to 2:40 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 5 through March 18, 2010, at SSCC’s South Campus in Fincastle.
  • Stained Glass will meet 6-8:30 p.m., Mondays, Jan. 4 through Feb. 1, 2010, at SSCC’s Fayette Campus in Washington C.H.
  • Stained Glass will meet 5-9:40 p.m., Mondays, Jan. 4 through March 15, 2010, at SSCC’s South Campus in Fincastle.

  • Fused Glass will meet 5-9:40 p.m., Wednesdays, Jan. 6 through March 17, 2010, at SSCC’s South Campus in Fincastle.
