I'd like to think that Trump administration border czar Tom Homan is older than I am. He is not.

We were both born in 1961, but his birthday is in November. Mine is four months earlier.

On Friday, Sept. 5, Homan gave an incredibly honest and forthright speech before the State Freedom Caucus Network Summit in Dallas, Texas.

For those who are not faint of heart, you can watch Homan's speech at https://www.thecentersquare.com/national/article_e97b8eff-a913-4bf4-b41….

As reported by The Center Square's Greg Bishop, Homan acknowledged that "Democrat leaders in sanctuary states and cities hate President Donald Trump more than they love their communities."

Homan is correct.

While Democrats insist President Trump is targeting Democrat-run cities for political reasons, Homan said that’s not the case.

“It’s not because they’re blue, it’s because they’re sanctuary cities, and they’re releasing criminals every hour, so that’s where we’re going,” Homan said. “That’s where we’re going to flood the zone.”

Homan previously said they will “flood the zone” with immigration enforcement in Chicago. He also tried to make sense of the Democrats’ resistance to cooperating with ICE.

“They hate President Trump more than they love their communities, there’s no other reason,” Homan said. “I can’t think of why you would not join forces with us.”

Illinois law prohibits state and local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration officials. State law also prohibits police from inquiring about an individual's immigration status.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker has said if Trump deploys the National Guard in Chicago, the state will immediately take the administration to court.

That is rich.

According to the liberal CBS news, at least seven people were killed and 48 others were hurt in shootings across Chicago during Labor Day weekend alone. The ages of the victims range from 14 to 50.

Which begs the question: Why wouldn't Illinois Democrats want a safer Chicago and a safer state?

I think Homan has already provided that answer. Pure politics.

Homan's Sept. 5 speech was one of, if not the best, speech by a career law enforcement professional and presidential Cabinet member I've ever heard. Unlike the idiot border czars in the Biden administration (Harris or Mayorkas, take your pick), Homan spoke in clear, coherent terms about the disastrous Biden years of open borders in which millions entered the U.S. illegally while Border Patrol agents were handcuffed from doing their jobs.

Unlike Harris, Mayorkas or anyone else in the previous administration, Homan knows of which he speaks. He came up through the ranks. Homan started his career as a police officer in 1983, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He stood a post on the border.

He knows of the cartels and the rapes of children. When he spoke of interviewing 9- and 10-year-old little girls who had been raped repeatedly, he noted that their eyes were almost life-less.

Homan proudly and unabashedly advocates the deportation of illegal immigrants and opposes sanctuary city policies. For Homan, illegal means illegal. Laws passed by Congress and signed by presidents ought to be enforced. Homan is enforcing those laws.

Homan correctly notes that the Biden administration knowingly and willingly allowed millions of illegals into the U.S. for pure politics. Let them in. Promise them everything from free housing to free food to free education, and register them to vote as Democrats. Disgusting.

To his credit, former President Obama appointed Homan as Immigration and Customs Enforcement's executive associate director of enforcement and removal operations in 2013.

Obama awarded Homan a Presidential Rank Award in 2015 as a Distinguished Executive.

Obama, by the way, not Trump, was dubbed the "deporter-in-chief." Why weren't Democrats crying and protesting then? Hello?

While Democrats are screaming about Trump’s plans to carry out mass deportations in his second term, some honest commentators are pointing out that former President Obama oversaw millions of deportations, even earning the title "deporter-in-chief."

Fox host Sandra Smith said last year that although Democrats are promising pushback against Trump’s deportations plans, "We didn’t hear much about this, former President Obama was dubbed ‘deporter-in-chief,’ that’s because he deported some 5.3 million illegals during his two terms."

Even Homan acknowledged that Biden – not Obama – was the real problem with illegals pouring into the country for four years.

Homan said he lives with daily threats on his life and his family. He dares the cartels to "come and get me."

Isuro "Kamikazi" Tanaka told Pedro Cerrano in "Major League II," "You have no marbles."

To which Cerrano replied, "Marbles?"

Tom Homan has marbles. Steel ones, at that. Keep on keeping on.

I plan on crossing the northern border next week. I have the proper documents and the purest of motives: I have a passport card, and I want to get lunch in Quebec. I've never been to Quebec. I'll probably get treated worse in taxachusetts, vermont, RI, and CT. Those corrupt venues will not curtail my quest to visit all of the States, Districts, and Territories in my Country. We're better than them.
