Larry B. 'Scotty' Scott Sr.

Larry B. “Scotty” Scott Sr., 71, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.

He was born June 16, 1951 in Mount Dora, Fla., the son of the late Jessie and Florine Wilson Scott.

Scotty retired after working 43 years at Mead Paper Company in Chillicothe. He loved watching television, especially the original “Star Trek.” He also loved going to air shows with his family. His favorite jets to watch were the Thunderbirds.

On April 29, 1972, he married the former Faye Conley, and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Larry (Tessa) Scott Jr. of Chillicothe, Carman Christopher (Tracy) Scott of Lafayette, Ind., Carmelitta (Lee) Puckett of Coal Grove and Roseanne (Ryan) Pollock of Greenfield; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vivian (Eddie) Sparks of Rochester, N.Y. and Forestine (Lee) of New York; three brothers, Jessie (Angie) Scott Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., Angelo (Theresa) White of Mount Dora, Fla. and Maurice White; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ajita Wilson of Italy and Scarlett; and one brother, Willie James.

A funeral service for Scotty will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort, with Rev. Robert Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Family and friends can visit with Scotty’s family Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
