Youth softball pitching clinic held at Mitchell Park

GREENFIELD – A youth softball pitching clinic was held recently at Mitchell Park in Greenfield conducted by McClain senior pitcher Gracie Bowers.  

The four-day event was attended by girls from Greenfield, Hillsboro, Clinton Massie, Miami Trace and Washington C.H. ages (8 to 13).

Twenty-four girls participated and were taught the fundamental principles of mechanics, windup and techniques of power using your legs.

Some of the proceeds from the clinic were donated to the Highland County Humane Society and the Mitchell Park Youth Sports League (MPYSL).
