William C. Hornschemeier

William C. Hornschemeier, 42, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 as the result of a single-vehicle accident.

He was born Aug. 7, 1980 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Thomas and Retha Wilham Hornschemeier.

Billy worked in the industrial maintenance industry as a mechanic. He loved the outdoors, going on Jeep rides and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Felts Hornschemeier; two sons, Conner and Carson Hornschemeier; four bonus children, Xander, Xoey, Xavier and Xayden; one sister, Betty (Justin Brewer) Hornschemeier of Lynchburg; and two brothers, his twin, Matthew (Donna) Hornschemeier of Lynchburg and Michael (Brandy) Hornschemeier of Hillsboro.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Leland Hornschemeier.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 9 at 6 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Father Mike Paraniuk will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Instead of other remembrances, the family suggests going Jeep riding or fishing in his honor.
