Whiteoak’s Eyre, Blair place in Top 30 at Fortress Obetz

The Whiteoak Wildcats had two runners place in the Top 30 of the OHSAA Early Season Invitational Division II and III race held at Fortress Obetz.

WHS junior Landen Eyre was second place out of 337 runners with a time of 16:10.10. Also in the Top 30 was WHS senior Weston Blair, who was 29th with a time of 17:49.00.

Whiteoak placed 30th as a team out of 41 teams competing.

The Wildcats also had the following runners in the event: senior Jake Ward (22:09.90), junior Austin Richards (22:54.50) and sophomore Shane Mitchell-Cox (25:12.30).

Whiteoak also had two girls race in the event, with senior Claire Ames having a time of 28:06.40, and sophomore Lexi Taylor having a time of 32:04.50.
