Whiteoak softball drops game to Bethel-Tate

In five innings, the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats lost a non-conference game to Bethel-Tate by a 13-3 score Tuesday.
WHS totaled three runs with a one-run top of the first inning and two runs in the fifth. The Lady ’Cats also collected five hits and committed three errors.
BTHS totaled 12 hits and had no errors. BTHS scored three runs in the first, three runs in the second, six runs in the fourth and one run in the fifth.
Jaylie Parr scored a run, walked once and had a steal. Lilly Leston went 2-for-3 with two RBI, and teammate Molly McMullen was 1-for-3 with one run and a steal.
Bri Hill finished 1-for-2 with a double, one RBI and a steal. Elly McMullen finished 1-for-2 with a run and a steal.
WHS now stands at 3-4 overall in 2023.
