Thomas “Tom” Ryan Cook, 42, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at Bethesda North Hospital. 

He was born in Georgetown on Aug. 2, 1980. 

Tom loved to be outdoors, but his biggest passion was fishing. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Cook of Mt. Orab; children, Destinee Cook of Mt Orab, Jeremiah Carter of Lynchburg and Ryan Cook of Mt Orab; mother, Rachel Marie (Fox) Smith; brothers, Israel Cook, Steven (April) Jordan of Hillsboro, John Cook of Cleveland and twin brother, Tim (Amanda) Cook of Lynchburg; cousin, Andy Fox; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Gary Lee Cook; brother, Jeremy Cook; grandparents, Martha Myers, Donald Fox, James Myers, and Betty and Ben Cook; and niece, Paytyn Jordan. 

Tom will be cremated with no formal services. The family asks that you go fishing in memory and honor of Tom.
