Lawmakers have yet to bring changes to Ohio’s new marijuana law over the finish line. 

The Ohio House and Senate ended their last scheduled sessions of the year last week without passing any marijuana legislation. 

Marijuana is now legal in Ohio, but lawmakers are continuing to try and tinker with the law.

Ohio’s marijuana law goes into effect Thursday under Issue 2 — which Ohioans passed with 57 percent of the vote.

Ohioans 21 and older would be able to cultivate, purchase and possess marijuana if a bipartisan bill passes in the Ohio Statehouse.
