Scoring 20 points in the first frame, it was evident the tempo was set by the home team Hillsboro Lady Indians on Wednesday evening. 

There will be some rearranging for the Hillsboro Indians in their trophy case, as they regained possession of the Rotary Bowl trophy due to their performance in Week 10 against rival McClain, defeating the visiting Tigers 41-10 at Richards Memorial Field Friday. 

Forty-eight minutes and 65 points later, the Hillsboro Indians won for the second time this season, and for the first time in ’24 at Richards Memorial Field, as a dominating effort led to the Indians defeating the East Clinton Astros, 65-0 in Week 5 on Friday night.

For the Portsmouth West Senators, an inadvertent whistle by the four-man officiating crew went to their liking. On the other side of the field, for the Hillsboro Indians, the same roaring sound from the official’s whistle ruined a big, momentum-changing moment that swayed what could have been a possible Indians lead to a continuation of a drive that resulted into a turnover on downs late in the fourth quarter.
