The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs hosted the Vinton County Vikings on Wednesday (April 16), and they wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as a 10-run first inning led to LCHS winning by a 19-1 score in a five-inning non-conference contest.

It was a game of two halves Friday night on the McClain hardwood when the Tigers and visiting Vinton County Vikings battled to a 72-69 double-overtime thriller, where the Vikings squeaked by at the end.
