While I am overly optimistic year in and year out, as I love the Reds, I often times know deep down that the Reds aren’t going to contend in the division. This year, however, I feel different.
Mathematically, yeah, the Bengals still have a chance. I highly urge you to avoid any optimism and just get ready for baseball season. The loss to the Bills in epic Cincinnati fashion was the typical heartbreaker we are all used to.
If you’re playing football after your Thanksgiving dinner, remind yourself that defense matters. I wish Cincinnati realized this. Show your nephew you still have it at age 31 – and step in there and pull a hamstring! Show them what Thanksgiving is all about.
At what point do you call it quits and ask your head coach to pack his bags and search for his replacement? Outside of a Burrow-carried Super Bowl run, Zac Taylor has been one of the worst coaches in the NFL.

Before attending the weekend series against the Giants, I was kindly invited to report on the Pure Life Project, as they celebrated World Water Day at the Freestore Foodbank in Cincinnati on Wednesday. Elly De La Cruz joined and volunteered, while surprising the Holy Cross baseball team who was also in attendance.
At last, we have arrived to the week of Opening Day. A tradition like no other, where the roads are full of Red, music is blasting throughout the Banks, and the Stadium is full of those who waited months for Reds baseball to resume.
With just over two weeks away from meaningful baseball, the Reds are in a relatively healthy position and I truly believe this team has a chance at surprising a lot of people around the baseball world.
Two months from now, I’ll be sitting in right field enjoying an ice cold beverage, enjoying 65-degree weather (let’s hope), and watching the Reds take on the Giants with Hunter Greene likely to take the mound vs. Logan Webb, barring any injuries.
While this has been the most disappointing NFL season of my lifetime, Ja’Marr Chase is putting up possibly the best season by a wide receiver in the history of football.
