A 2-for-2 field goal day in Alliance, complete with a career-long 40-yard field goal, grants Wilmington College senior Connor Bucksath Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
This was the first time Bucksath, a Goshen High School graduate, was honored during his Quakers career.
Bucksath, from Loveland, Ohio, is a career 5-for-5 on field goal attempts, having made them this year from 22, 23, 25 and 31.
He is the first Wilmington player this year to earn Player of the Week honors, and the first since Derek Larimer following the ninth game of last season.
Bucksath is 4-of-6 on his PAT attempts and was the team's kickoff specialist since the Spring 2021 COVID football season through last season, with four touchbacks on kickoffs and an average of 42 yards on kickoffs. He has played in a total of 31 games in his five years at Wilmington.
