The Fayette Regional Humane Society (FRHS) is pleased to announce the return of its highly anticipated annual fundraiser, FORE! The Animals Golf Tournament (scramble), scheduled for Friday, June 6 at Buckeye Hills Country Club. This exciting event brings together community members, animal lovers, and golf enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving – all to benefit animals in need.

The tournament kicks off with an 8 a.m. check-in and a 9 a.m. shotgun start, welcoming golfers of all skill levels to participate. Players will enjoy 18 holes of golf on a scenic and  challenging course, as well as breakfast, lunch, and the chance to win a variety of contests and prizes.

“We are thrilled to host the FORE! The Animals Golf Tournament once again,” said Dr. Lee Schrader, executive director of FRHS. “This event not only provides a fun and memorable day for our participants, but it also raises crucial funds that allow us to continue providing care, shelter, and medical treatment to the animals who need it most.”

Event highlights include:

• Contests such as longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin;

• Awards following the event; and

• A 50/50 raffle and additional raffle prizes.

All proceeds from the tournament will directly support FRHS programs and services, helping provide food, shelter, and veterinary care for homeless and neglected animals in Fayette County.

Registration is $250 per foursome, and the deadline to register is May 30. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and individuals interested in supporting animal welfare while gaining community exposure. The sponsorship deadline is May 22.
