OSU’s 2024-25 Big Ten basketball single and double play opponents announced
The Big Ten Conference announced recently the single and double play opponents for the 2024-25 conference basketball schedule. The expanded 18-team league will play a 20-game schedule with 10 home and 10 away games.
Ohio State will play Indiana, Maryland and Nebraska twice, once at home and once on the road. The Buckeyes will play the rest of the conference just one time.
The home only games will be against Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oregon, Rutgers and Washington. Oregon will come to Columbus for the first time since 1971 and Washington will play in Columbus for the first time since 1968.
The road only games will be against Illinois, Minnesota, Penn State, Purdue, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin. The Buckeyes are 1-2 on the road at USC and will be playing at Southern Cal for the first time since 1996. Ohio State will be playing at UCLA for the first time since 1971 and the Buckeyes are 2-3 on the road vs. UCLA.
The dates for the conference games will be announced in early September. Ohio State’s non-conference schedule be announced later this summer.
