LC cross country places 2nd at Ripley

      RIPLEY — The Lynchburg-Clay cross country team placed second out of seven teams Saturday at Ripley High School.
     The top five Lynchburg-Clay runners included: Gage Waits, who was 6th out of 66 runners, with a time of 18:39. He was followed by Quinn Stoltz, Noah Stoltz, Dallas Puckett and Cody Jones.
     In the girls event, Laney Lewis was sixth out of 67 runners.
     LC will run again on Tuesday at West Union. The event will start at 4:30 p.m.[[In-content Ad]]
