Lady Mustangs drop match in 5 to WU

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs fell in a close contest earlier this week to the West Union Lady Dragons in five sets.

LC fell by scores of (21-25), 25-21, 25-17, (24-26) and (9-15).

Senior Magan Stegbauer led LC in kills with 12 and in blocks with seven.

Elizabeth Spidel led the Lady Mustangs with 26 points on serve.

The loss drops the Lady Mustangs to an overall record of 4-2. LC will travel to Fayetteville on Thursday to face the Lady Rockets.
