Foltz has unassisted triple play

     Griffin Foltz, an 8-year-old entering third grade at Greenfield Elementary this year and playing for the Big City Pizza team in the coach's pitch league, was awarded the game ball on Wednesday, June 2 for making a completely unassisted triple play.
     Foltz, who was playing second base, caught a ball, ran to first, got the first baseman out, ran to second base, and tagged the base before the player got back from third. Foltz is the son of Deron and Gretchen Foltz of Greenfield, and his mother said that his exciting play has "been a pretty big deal for him."[[In-content Ad]]
