Dustin Carter receives wrestling Hall of Fame Medal of Courage Award

  Hillsboro High School graduate  and former Indians wrestler Dustin Carter recently received the Medal of Courage Award from the Ohio Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. The award is presented to a wrestler or former wrestler who has overcome what appear to be insurmountable challenges in his life.
To Carter's left is U.S. Congressman and former All-State wrestler Jim Jordan of Urbana, who received the Outstanding American from Ohio Award.
Hillsboro Mayor Dick Zink and Hillsboro Superintendent Rick Earley proclaimed Sept. 5 as Dustin Carter Day in Hillsboro. 
Carter was honored Sept. 12 at the Embassy Suites in Dublin.
