Bengals announce Aug. 28 roster moves

The Cincinnati Bengals Wednesday made the following player moves:
 
• Acquired DE K.J. Henry on waivers from Washington. Henry (6-4, 255), a second-year player out of Clemson University, originally was a fifth-round draft pick of the Commanders in 2023. He played in 10 games (three starts) as a rookie last season for Washington and totaled 19 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two PDs. He was waived by Washington Tuesday.
 
• Released HB Trayveon Williams.
 
• Signed the following 12 players to the practice squad (all were with the Bengals during training camp):
—CB Nate Brooks
—WR Cole Burgess
—OT Devin Cochran
—DT Domenique Davis
—CB Jalen Davis
—TE Cam Grandy
—LB Shaka Heyward
—C Trey Hill
—WR Shedrick Jackson
—S PJ Jules
—WR Kendric Pryor
—QB Logan Woodside.
 
The Bengals’ practice squad currently is four spots shy of the 16-player limit.
 
In addition, CB Lance Robinson, who was waived/injured by the Bengals Tuesday, cleared waivers Wednesday and reverted to the team’s Reserve/Injured list.
