The No. 7 seeded Whiteoak Wildcats wrapped up their 2026 season in the Division VII SE District Semifinals on Thursday afternoon, falling to the No. 2 seeded South Webster Jeeps by an 8-1 score at Logan High School.

Whiteoak — who had no seniors this season — finished the spring with an overall record of 11-17, as they were 8-5 in Division II of the Southern Hills Athletic Conference.

On Thursday, the Wildcats scored their lone run in the top of the seventh inning when Caden Butler singled and eventually scored a run on an infield error.

For the game, WHS totaled three hits with Christian Hite going 1-for-3 with a double. Teammate Butler was also 1-for-3 with the aforementioned run, and Jacob Kiley was 1-for-3.

Izayah Clift pitched for WHS as he pitched six innings, finishing with three strikeouts.

South Webster scored their runs with two in the bottom of the second, followed by four runs in the fourth and two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

This postseason, WHS went 1-1 as they previously defeated the Miller Falcons 10-0 in five innings on May 21 at WHS.
