Whiteoak soccer falls to North Adams in season opener

SUGAR TREE RIDGE — The Whiteoak Wildcats soccer team began their 2025 season with a Southern Hills Athletic Conference match against the visiting North Adams Green Devils with NAHS winning by a 9-1 score. 

The SHAC game saw the Wildcats’ lone goal come in the second half when Lucas Pollard scored a goal on a penalty kick. 

The Green Devils led 5-0 at halftime, and scored four more goals in the second half. 

Preston Call, Jaydon Reckers and and Ian Raines each finished with two goals a piece for North Adams. Scoring one goal for the Green Devils were Beau Hesler, Kyser Swayne, and Colin Tolle. 

Assists by the Green Devils were credited to Call, Leeric Christman, Reckers, and with two assists was Hesler. 

North Adams keeper Thad Moore finished with two saves.
