Whiteoak defeats Ripley for road SHAC win

Tuesday night (April 8) the Whiteoak Wildcats defeated the Ripley Blue Jays by a 5-0 score for a Southern Hills Athletic Conference victory.
Whiteoak gained their runs with one run in the top of the first, followed with a two-run second inning, and they also scored one run in the fifth, and another run in the top of the sixth inning.
The Wildcats finished the game with four hits and two errors, and the Blue Jays totaled three hits and had three errors.
Whiteoak saw Jacen Applegate go 1-for-4 with one steal, while Abraham Flander was 1-for-4 with a double and one run.
Jacob Kiley finished 1-for-3 with one RBI and a walk. Jonah Michael was 1-for-4 with one RBI.
Also for the Wildcats, Christian Hite scored one run plus he had three walks and two steals. Izayah Clift had one walk.
Zander Roades scored two runs, collected two RBI, walked twice, had one hit by pitch, and finished with three steals.
Charlie Starks scored one run, had one walk and finished with three steals. Jackson Tedford finished with a steal.
Applegate was the winning pitcher, tossing six innings, allowing no runs on two hits and four walks with 12 strikeouts. Kiley pitched one inning, allow no hits or runs, with one walk and two strikeouts.
