Lady Indians sweep Waverly in 3 straight sets

The Hillsboro Lady Indians improved to 4-0 overall to start their 2024 season, with their fourth win coming Tuesday night (Aug. 20) against the visiting Waverly Tigers.
HHS won by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-16.
Samantha Tipton led the Lady Indians in kills with 16, as Hillsboro totaled 40 kills in the three-set match win. Tipton also collected one dig and one assist.
Tylee Davis finished the match with eight kills, two aces, 11 digs, one assist and six service receptions.
Allie Rouch totaled six kills, four digs and two assists. Ryan Wagoner also collected six kills, but also had 19 digs, eight service receptions and two aces.
Camryn Spruell finished the game with four digs, three kills, one ace, one total block and one service reception. Kyla Seeling finished with 35 assists, 12 digs, one kill and one total block.
Jadi Howland ended the non-conference win with 21 total service receptions, 16 digs and one assist. Addison Huff totaled 18 service receptions and 14 digs.
Next for Hillsboro is a FAC match Tuesday, Aug. 27 at home against the Chillicothe Lady Cavaliers at 7 p.m. at HHS.
