Hillsboro Lady Indians finish 11th at OHSAA state bowling tournament

The Hillsboro Lady Indians bowling team completed their stellar 2024-25 season on Friday afternoon by placing 11th in the Division I OHSAA State Bowling Championships at HP Lanes in Columbus. 

Hillsboro ended the tournament with a total pin score of 3,400, including a regulation total of 2,563 in the three regulation games, and a Baker score of 837. In the regulation games, scores included 801, 927 and 835. The Baker scores for the Lady Indians were 178, 156, 155, 147 and 201. 

HHS finished 85 pins out of making the Top 8 championship bracket. 

The top individual finisher for the Lady Indians was junior Sidney Bayless with a score of 562, as her game scores were 203, 179 and 180.

In 41st place was sophomore Camilyn Miller with game scores of 170, 222 and 151 for a total of 543. 

Hillsboro freshman Rylie Ison finished in 50th place with a score of 521 with her game scores being 165, 176 and 180. 

HHS sophomore Madison Nichols finished in 71st place with a score of 475 as her game scores were 130, 175 and 170. 

Sophomore Rylee Moyer was 73rd place overall with a score of 462 with game scores of 133, 175 and 154. 

The Division I individual state champion was Bellefontaine senior Haylee Yelton with a score of 699.
