The win overall puts HHS at 4-2 on the season, with a 3-0 mark in their conference matches.

On Tuesday, the Lady Indians had a first doubles win by senior Ciara Woods and junior Lilah Hardy over senior June Maddux and junior Mary Denan of WCH.

The HHS second doubles team of junior Kamrie Lee and sophomore Kaylin Branscom defeated the Washington team of senior Lily Dawson and junior Shiina Mitsui by scores of 6-0, 6-0.

Hillsboro’s first singles win came from senior Adalyn Gaines winning in two sets over junior Cambry Brown at 6-1, 6-1.

The Lady Indians continued with their winning effort as junior Taylor-Ann Scruggs won her second singles match against sophomore Emmersyn Frederick at 6-0, 6-2.
