3 Lady Indians have hits in Monday loss to Chillicothe

Monday’s Frontier Athletic Conference game saw the Hillsboro Lady Indians fall to the host Chillicothe Lady Cavaliers, 10-0 in five innings.
As HHS played in Ross County on Monday, three Hillsboro players reached the bases via a hit, with Rilynn Swisshelm hitting a double as she was 1-for-2 and she was hit by a pitch. She also pitched in the game, and in 4.2 innings she finished with four strikeouts.
Addley Miller was 1-for-1 with a hit by pitch and a steal. Peyton Spurlock was 1-for-3 against Chillicothe. Emory Zornes also reached the bases as she was hit by a pitch.
The game saw Chillicothe score three runs in the bottom of the first, then they added another three runs in the second and one run in the third. CHS ended the game with a three-run bottom of the fifth. CHS finished the game with five hits and two errors. HHS totaled their three hits and had six errors.
HHS now stands at 0-11 overall and 0-5 in the FAC. Chillicothe is now 14-1 overall and 5-0 in the FAC.
Hillsboro will play again Wednesday, April 15 at home against the same Chillicothe team at 5 p.m. at HHS.
