The Southern Ohio Storm 5th grade boys AAU basketball team, based in Highland County, has kicked off their season with an impressive run, bringing home championships from two consecutive tournaments.

The team claimed first place at the OYB Lancaster Gale Classic, held April 12–13, showcasing skill and teamwork throughout the weekend. They followed up with another dominant performance at the Dayton Hoopla tournament in Beavercreek on April 26–27, going undefeated with a perfect 4-0 record to secure the title.

Team members include Eli Willian and Jack Stuckey (Fairfield), Camden Burlile and Brayden Beckett (Clinton-Massie), Ezra Haines and Knox McNeal (Greenfield), Maddux Schlaegel-Berlin (Wilmington), Jaxson Tackett (Waverly), Jaden Swackhammer (Jackson), and Grant Ward (Miami Trace).

The team is coached by Heath McNeal, Jordan Berlin, and Jarrod Haines.
