Fairfield Lions boys golf 8th at Adena Invitational

Tuesday (Aug. 5) saw the Fairfield Lions boys golf team compete to an eighth place finish at the Adena Invitational in Ross County. 

The Lions had a score of 360 for the event, as the winning team was the Westfall Mustangs with a score of 320. Unioto was second place at 337. 

Fairfield was led by junior Caleb Barrera with a team low score of 89 in the 18-hole event for 26th place overall. 

The Lions had junior Van Bennington and freshman Pierce Abbott tie for 31st place, each with a score of 90.

Also placing in the Top 35 was senior Titan Crowder with a 91 score. 

FHS also had junior Greyson Abbott finished with a score of 107 and sophomore Keegan Bender carded a 118 score.
