Fairfield improves to 10-0 with win over CNE

For their first 10 matches of the 2025 season the Fairfield Lady Lions have won all 10, this time defeating the Clermont Northeastern Lady Rockets in four sets, as FHS celebrated senior night at Grandle Gymnasium, Monday, Sept. 15. 

Seniors for Fairfield are Jaeden Drury and Kaitlyn Eidenier. 

In the non-conference match the Lady Lions lost the first set at 25-21, but then it was all Fairfield in the winning column as they won set two at 25-17, set three at 25-17 and then the game-winning set four was won by a 25-19 score. 

The victory saw the Lady Lions total 47 kills, 15 aces, three blocks, 76 digs, and 47 assists.

In assists, the team leader was Paisley Stahlhut with 43, while also having one assist each were Ally Maynard, Remi Moon, Jorja May, and Alyssa Bales. 

Of the 76 digs earned by the Lady Lions, the leader was May with 24, and next were three more teammates in double figures as they were Bales (19), Moon (18), and Stahlhut (10). Also collecting digs were Maynard (three), Eidenier (one), and Addison Cannon (one). 

Fairfield’s three blocks were made by Cannon with two and Drury with one. 

Aces were led by Bales and Maynard with four each, while Moon had three. Finishing with one ace each were Stahlhut, May, Eidenier, and Cannon. 

In the kills category it was Moon in the team lead with 29, while Drury finished with eight, May had six, Stahlhut totaled three and Cannon had one. 

The win moved the Lady Lions to a 10-0 record, and in the SHAC they currently stand at 6-0.
