Shirley J. Williams Reichard

Shirley J. Williams Reichard, 85, of the East Danville community passed away Monday, July 3, 2023.

She was born March 8, 1938 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Robert Dennis Smith and Gladys (Vance) Stroop.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Gene) Bingamon of Hillsboro; a son, David (Sam) Williams of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Mark Keplinger, Zachary (Brittany) Bingamon, Jenni (Keith) Thackston, Haley (Corey) Allen; great-grandchildren, Brandy, Marcus, Jada, Teigan, Aden, Piper, Braydyn, Rhaelynne, Landrey, Bentley, Analynn, Kendall and River; entire staff of Embassy Valley View; and host of friends.

She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Gerald Stroop; first husband, Ronnie Williams; second husband, Albert Reichard; a son, Bob Williams; and a brother, Cyril "Bucky" Stroop.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 7 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at the Hamer Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.Friday at the funeral home.
