Sheryl A. Storms

Sheryl A. Storms, 72, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2023.

Sheryl was born May 10, 1951 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Robert and Lorraine (Walker) Moore.

Sheryl is survived by four daughters and sons-law, Paula and Scott Pointer of Hillsboro, Missy and Brian Taylor of Seaman, Melissa Storms of Hillsboro and Debra and Tim Dermody-Storms of Mt. Orab; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Barbara Storms of New Carlisle and Josh and Kala Storms of Hillsboro; brother, Daryl Moore of Dayton; two sisters, Linda Bartee of Dayton and Carol Moore of Richmond, Ind.; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary W. Storms Sr., on March 2, 2022; son, Gary Wayne Storms Jr.; and sister, Cathleen Moore.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023 at 3 p.m. at the Hillsboro Church of God, 5760 U.S. 62 South, Hillsboro.

Pastor John Coyle will officiate, with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 p.m. until time of service at the Hillsboro Church of God.
