Search warrant executed at East Main Street residence

Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant in the 200 block of East Main Street in Hillsboro at approximately 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23.
According to Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera, the office of Homeland Security was leading the investigation and local officers were asked to assist.
The house, located at 216 East Main, was recently sold through the estate of the Harsha family. According to the Highland County auditor's website, the property is owned by Hayden Denver Wolford.
The investigation is ongoing.

Harsha Family
The Harsha Family has owned Harsha Monument Co since 1853...currently, I believe, the 5th or 6th generation. Two of the Harsha men have been mayors of Hillsboro (including Justin Harsha, our current major). Harshas have been active in civic and church affairs in our community. Charles M Harsha served faithfully on Highland County Historical Society board of trustees. I would call them a prominent family.

Why?
Why are you amazed and surprised? Dr. Khatri is the current mayor's brother-in-law. Of course he would know the history of the property and of course this community's news is important to him and his immediate family.

The house had belonged to the late Deborah Harsha and was sold to a man from out of town several months ago. Might be helpful to mention that our had no involvement with the Harsha family, considering they are a very reputable and prominent family in Hillsboro and Highland County.
