Reds announce homestand highlights for Aug. 4-9
The Cincinnati Reds Thursday announced the following homestand highlights for their upcoming series against the Washington Nationals and Miami Marlins, Aug. 4-9.
Friday, Aug. 4 – Reds vs. Washington Nationals, 6:40 p.m. (gates open at 5:10 p.m.)
• TV: Bally Sports Ohio (John Sadak, Barry Larkin & Jim Day)
• Radio: 700WLW and stations on the Reds Radio Network (Tommy Thrall & Jeff Brantley)
• Fireworks Friday: Rozzi’s fireworks show presented by Voices of America Country Music Fest begins shortly after the concert ends.
• City Connect Friday: Reds players and coaches will wear the Nike City Connect uniform as part of City Connect Fridays.
Saturday, Aug. 5 – Reds vs. Washington Nationals, 4:10 p.m. (gates open at 2:40 p.m.)

• Crossbody Bag: As part of Super Saturdays, fans in attendance will receive a Reds Crossbody Bag, presented by LifeCenter. While supplies last.
• Post-Game Faith Concert: for KING & COUNTRY will perform a post-game concert from the field, presented by Ark Encounter. Free to all fans with a game ticket.

• Reds City Connect Poster Series #4: Fans in attendance will receive a City Connect poster presented by Skyline Chili, while supplies last. The poster is the fourth in a series of five to be given away at select games this season featuring Reds players in the City Connect uniform.
• Reds Country Athletic Achievement Award: Members of the Moeller High School volleyball team will be honored during pregame ceremonies with a Reds Country Athletic Achievement Award for winning the 2023 Ohio Division I state championship.
Monday, Aug. 7 – Reds vs. Miami Marlins, 6:40 p.m. (gates open at 5:10 p.m.)

• Bark in the Park: Over 350 dogs and their owners will be at the game for the third Bark in the Park of the season, presented by Purina and Kroger. Dogs and their owners can enjoy pet activities, samples and more in the First Star Fan Zone. Dog packages must be purchased in advance of game day at reds.com/bark.

• First Pitch: As part of Xavier University Night at the ballpark, former Musketeer and current New Orleans Pelicans forward Naji Marshall will offer up a ceremonial first pitch.
• National Anthem: Singer/songwriter Blake Tyler will sing the National Anthem. The Lebanon, Ohio native is a featured performer at the Voices of America Country Music Fest, Aug. 10-13 in West Chester, Ohio.
• Budweiser Clydesdale: Fans can get photos with a Budweiser Clydesdale from 5 to 7 p.m. in the First Star Fan Zone.
• 3-2-1 Tuesdays: For all Tuesday home games this season, fans can purchase $3 Buds and Bud Lights (12 oz. cans), $2 hot dogs and $1 ice cream cups, presented by Budweiser and Bud Light.
Wednesday, Aug. 9 – Reds vs. Miami Marlins, 12:35 p.m. (gates open at 11:05 a.m.)

• Marty Golf Classic: The 19th annual Encore Technologies Marty Brennaman Golf Classic is Monday, Aug. 7 at Maketewah Country Club. Hosted by Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman, the event includes a flight of golf in the morning and a Reds game in the evening. All proceeds benefit the Reds Community Fund.

Reds Hall of Fame & Museum presented by Dinsmore
• Rosie Red Bobblehead: The 2023 collectible gift series continues in Aug. with a bobblehead of the vintage Rosie Red mascot. The commemorative bobblehead, presented by Dinsmore, celebrates the legendary rooters group and its iconic mascot. Free with regular-price paid admission to the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum (or a Great American Ball Park Tour) and is available Saturdays and Sundays in Aug., while supplies last.
• A Team of Their Own: The All-American Girls Baseball League film screening – Aug. 5: The documentary A Team of Their Own: The All-American Girls Baseball League will be screened on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. in the Jeff Wyler Family Hall of Fame Theater. Produced in 2015 by Grand Valley State University’s Veterans History Project, the film recounts the history of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League from its inception in early 1943 through the present. Dr. James Smither, the director of the Veterans History Project and a co-producer of the documentary, will be on-hand to introduce the film and to discuss its creation. The event is free with Hall of Fame admission.
