The moral fight between good and evil, Part 2

(Continued from Part 1)

The superiority of the American way of life was, once again, proven when the Soviet Union crumbled and the Cold War ended in 1991. After over 40 years of conflict, democracy and capitalism had overcome communism. The foundations of America, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, had finally triumphed over oppression and tyranny.

Unfortunately, when it comes to communism, America has lost its sense of right and wrong. Too many people believe that communism is just another form of government. Twenty-first Century America is more concerned with teaching social awareness than teaching actual history.

As a result, nearly two generations of Americans don’t have any idea about the evils associated with communism. High schools and (especially) colleges have been teaching that Marxism and socialism, the roots of communism are a good thing and that capitalism is the real evil.

In their line of thinking, business owners (the rich) have taken advantage of the workers (the poor) and oppressed them economically. They believe that the government should provide everything for them. And they believe that the government should erase any part of history that they deem to be offensive.

To go along with these teachings, plenty of American leaders are actively supporting communist concepts.

Bernie Sanders has been an open socialist for decades. Despite his desire to punish the rich and never having a private sector job, Sanders has three homes and a net worth of $3 million.

California governor Gavin Newsom just returned from a trip to China, where he met with communist leaders about climate change (even though China is the foremost polluter on the planet).

Our government helped fund gain of function research in China, which led to the creation of COVID. The incredibly popular social media site TikTok is a Chinese company. This type of government and economical collusion/cooperation with communism never happened during the Cold War. The Soviet Union was the “evil empire” and there was no cooperation with them on any level.

Today’s America does not have a leader that will stand up to communism (a la, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall”). Because of that, we lost our moral sense of what is right and wrong. When we can’t agree that communism is evil, everything else is open for debate.

That lack of moral clarity leads us to America’s current situation.

Hamas, an internationally known terrorist group centered in Palestine, recently attacked Israel. Israeli citizens (including at least 14 Americans) were taken hostage, raped, and killed in the most heinous ways.

Hamas has their military institutions built under schools and hospitals and has weaponry placed outside mosques. Basically, Hamas uses the Palestinian people as shields for their terrorist group. When Israel counter-attacks, they claim the Israelis are targeting innocent civilians. Attacking another country and then using their own innocent people as shields qualifies as evil.

Because America has lost our moral clarity, many Americans are fine with openly supporting Hamas. College students around the country have attended pro-Palestinian rallies. Jewish Americans had to lock themselves in the library at Cooper College to escape a mob of Hamas supporters.

“Americans” are tearing down images of Israeli hostages. A pro-Palestinian group rallied inside the Capitol. Another rallied outside the White House. Anti-Semitic phrases have been painted on building, homes, and businesses throughout America. And Congresswomen are leading chants calling for the extermination of Israel.

It amazes me that this public support of terrorism and anti-Semitism is occurring in the United States of America. It’s almost as if these people haven’t been taught about the atrocities of the Holocaust. It really makes me wonder where our sense of morality has gone

Twenty-first Century America has lost its sense of what is good and evil. For most of our history, the principles that this country was founded on were unchallenged. Democracy, capitalism and the concept of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness were celebrated and cherished.

For over 200 years, Americans were willing to die for those beliefs. Today, those ideas have lost their luster and don’t mean nearly as much. Because of that, we don’t have a unified idea of what is right and wrong. Our social and political leaders are constantly reaching out to communists.

Currently, our academic and (some) political leaders are openly supporting terrorist groups who rape and murder. Because of that, some Americans are siding with Osama bin Laden and believe that the 9/11 attacks were really our fault (check out communist-owned TikTok if you don’t know what I am talking about). To put it bluntly, we’ve lost our sense of morality as a nation.

Whether it be communism or terrorism, a faction of America will not admit that those ideas are evil. If evil can’t be identified, neither can good. As a result, America becomes just another country in the world instead a beacon of hope. When that happens, evil will take over.

I think the current trend started in the late forties, early fifties in the churches. The World Council of Churches seemed to be involved at one time. Most denominations quietly split into liberal and conservative versions. This was not publicly noticed until the latest and perhaps last schism, the split of the Methodists.

Infiltration of American education is the goal of communists. “In undermining a nation such as the United States, the infiltration of the educational process is of prime importance. The Communists have accordingly made the invasion of schools and colleges one of the major considerations in their psychological warfare designed to control the American mind.” These words written in 1954 by Louis Francis Budenz, a Soviet spy and member of the Communist Party, USA.
Many students are forced to study Marxist and Neo-Marxist literary theorists in order to feed the immoral communist political agenda.
Case in point, the recent passage of Ohio's Issue 1 was carried by 18-25 year old voters.
