William Steven “Bill” Wilkin, 66, of Lynchburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 6, 2022 at his home.
He was born Aug. 19, 1955 in Hillsboro, the son of Charles Edgar and Doris G. (Mason) Wilkin.
He is survived by two sisters, Bette Ursell of Highland and Jo Ellen (Jon) Hilliard of Lynchburg; a stepdaughter, Anna (Aaron) Boots; as well as nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Wilkin; his father, Charles Edgar Wilkin; his mother, Doris G. Wilkin Rhoades; his stepfather, Melvin “Dusty” Rhoades; his brother-in-law, William Ursell; and a stepson, Gregory Evans.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
