William Dwight “Bill” Roe, 60, of Leesburg, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at his home.
  
He was born May 16, 1957 in Chillicothe, the son of Oliver “Curly” and ReEtta “Babe” (Dimmick) Roe.
 
Bill was a devoted husband, dad and friend and also the hardest-working man, who would share a conversation with anyone who’d let him.

Bill was owner/operator of B & H Overhead Doors for nearly 20 years and previously owned Greenfield Paint and Glass. He was a 1975 graduate of Miami Trace High School and served as a Scout Master for Troop #22 and as a 4-H advisor. He enjoyed his annual fishing trips to Florida with Joe and secretly enjoyed helping Helen with her Dunn Right show goats.

He is survived by his wife, Helen (Faulconer) Roe, whom he married June 20, 1981; sons, Jacob Alan Roe of Columbus and Joshua Edward (Chrissy) Roe of Louisville, Ky.; sister, Sharon (Don) Knapp of Estero, Fla.; brothers-in-law, Charles (Joyce) Faulconer, Dean (Patty) Faulconer and Jerry (Jodi) Faulconer; sister-in-law, Carol (Marvin) Walker; several nieces and nephews; aunts, Wanda Roe and Donna Watts; uncles, Danny (Lesley) Dimmick and Ernie Peterson; special friends, Phillip Baldwin, Joe Taylor and Betty Taylor, who was like Bill’s second mother; and dearest dog, Sophie.
 
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Kenneth; and his father.
  
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 16 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Ken Toops officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be held 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
