William Bryan Knott

William Bryan Knott, 51, of Chillicothe, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus due to an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 9, 1964 in Butler County to Jane Burke Knott of Bainbridge and the late William “Bill” Knott.
Bryan was a 1984 Paint Valley graduate and a 1988 Ohio University communications graduate. He was a retired sergeant of the US Army, where he had served in Bosnia and Afghanistan.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife, Emily Galapago Knott; children, Katy, Kyndle and Kassidy Knott; grandson, Dean Gillette; sisters, Rebecca Lundregan and Christine (Martin) Webb; grandmother, Juanita Brougham; nieces, Dara Robbins and Lindsey Lundregan; nephew, Jonathan “Ridge” Webb; and many friends, including Donnie Brownfield.
Bryan was a member of the Bainbridge United Methodist Church, where services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 with Pastor Matt Brookes officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery with
military honors. Friends may visit with Bryan’s family from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
