William Brett Glover, 67, of the Buford community, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born Aug. 5, 1954, in Cincinnati, the son of the late William George Glover and Virginia (Roberts) Glover.

Brett went to Buford Elementary School and was a 1972 Lynchburg-Clay High School graduate. He was a Christian and was baptized at the Buford Church of Christ. Brett worked as a machinist and became a supervisor at Milacron, where he worked for 43 years. He enjoyed public service and was proud to be a Clay Township Trustee for 20 years. He also served as an EMA, and was a member of the Sardinia Masonic Lodge 254 F&AM. He had a passion for coaching, and he was the Buford boys and girls basketball teams coach for 10 years. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, repairing small engines, riding dirt bikes, and he enjoyed playing golf with his son, Keith. He looked forward to their yearly golf outing around the Memorial Day weekend. What Brett loved the most was spending time with his family, grandchildren and his wife, Jeannie. He will be deeply missed.

Brett is survived by his wife, Donna “Jeannie” Glover, whom he married on Feb. 23, 1973 in Pricetown; two sons, William Keith Glover of Buford and Brian Ray (Sonya) Glover of Grove City; four grandchildren, Dakota Glover, Aden Glover, Mackenzie Glover and Kylee “Taco” Glover; three sisters, Judith Wardlow, Deborah Hamilton and Brenda Borgemenke; a brother-in-law, Jim (Teresea) Smith; several nieces, nephews and friends; and his three fur babies, Lizzy, Gizmo and Maddie Mae.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Jean Holland.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Masonic services will be held following visitation at 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service on Saturday, Oct. 2 at the funeral home. Leo Kuhn will be officiating.

Burial will take place in the Buford cemetery following services. Memorial contributions may be made in Brett’s name to the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley, 215 Hughes Blvd., Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
