Wanda W. Smith Galliett, 93, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021 at her home with her daughter at her side in Wilmington.
She was born Sept. 23, 1928 in Clinton County, the daughter of the late Charles W. Walls and Hattie Rolston Walls.
She was a 1946 graduate of Wilmington High School; was a member and was baptized at the New Antioch Church of Christ; and had worked at and retired from the First National Bank.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Dean Dennewitz of Chillicothe; two nieces, Sandy (Randall) Clouser of Springfield and Felicia (Dairl) Campbell of Florida; a nephew, Cameron (Shelley) Flint of Wooster; special cousin, Betty Mae Stewart of Wilmington; three stepsons, Jeffery Galliett of Mt. Orab, Scott (Dawn) Galliett and Sean (Tonya) Neece of Amelia; and several other family members.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Smith, who died in 2001; her second husband, John Robert Galliett, who died in 2021; one son; two daughters; two sisters; and two brothers.
A small funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the New Antioch Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery in New Antioch, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the church Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, 1:30-2 p.m.
