Wanda Mae (Bloom) Bosier

Wanda Mae (Bloom) Bosier, 81, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024 at Highland District Hospital.

She was born Aug. 3, 1943 in Berrysville, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Loraine (Gall) Bloom.

She was a loving wife, mother and sister. Wanda was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Wilmington. A woman of many talents, Wanda's passion for cooking and baking was evident in her delicious meals and pastries that brought joy to all who tasted them. She turned her kitchen into a place of warmth and gathering, where family bonds were nurtured and memories were created.

Described best as a loving mother, Wanda's heart was her family. Her dedication and love extended beyond her children to her grandchildren, to whom she was a beacon of care and support. Her loving nurture was not only limited to her immediate family, but it was also extended to all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gordon Bosier Jr. of Sabina; her four children, Gordon (Johnie Mynar) Bosier Jr. II of Sabina, Patrick (Sherry) Bosier of Sabina, Kenneth (Theresa) Bosier of Missouri and Philip Bosier of Wilmington; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Jody) Bloom, Ernest Bloom and Darius Bloom; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Bloom McClannahan; and a brother, Daryl Bloom.

Celebration of Wanda’s life will be held Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Wilmington, 1920 St. Rd. 22 West, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
