Virginia L. "Ginnie" (nee Reid) Burton, 74, of Anderson Township, passed away July 1, 2016.
Ginnie retired from Cincinnati Milacron after 28 years of service.
She was the beloved wife of Dale B. Burton; loving stepmother of Timothy D. and Brian L. Burton; dear grandmother of Samuel, William, Joseph, Louis and Benson; and aunt to four nieces and a nephew. She is also survived by two sisters, Bonnie Sullivan (Reid) and Kay (Reid) and Joe Shinkle.
She was preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Dorthey (Beckett) Reid; two sisters, Marlene and Peggy Gray (Reid); and two brothers, Richard and Lowell Reid.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 8 from 5-7 p.m. at Hay Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 7312 Beechmont 45230 and again Saturday, July 9 from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7820 Beechmont 45255.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to Esther Marie Hatton Cancer Ctr. St. Elizabeth-Edgewood, Ky.; Immaculate Heart of Mary Church; or Hospice of Cincinnati.
