Velma June Hollingsworth, 87, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021.
She was born in Sandy Hook, Ky. on June 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter and Edna Winkleman.
Velma was a member of the Bible Believers Baptist Church.
Velma is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Frank) Andros; two grandchildren, Lory (Rob) Hubbard and Frank Andros; three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jared and Marley Hubbard; brothers, Claude Winkleman and Carl (Sue) Winkleman; sister, Joyce Lewis; brother-in-law, Gene (Madonna) Hollingsworth; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, George Hollingsworth, on Oct. 25, 1995; brother, Don Winkleman; and sister, Marie Winkleman.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Bible Believers Baptist Church, 7011 Ervin Road, Hillsboro 45133. Burial will follow at the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, July 5, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
