Todd Edward Cumberland, Sr., 55, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born on Jan. 19, 1966, in Hillsboro, the son of the late John Cumberland and Winnifred (Thomas) Cumberland.
Todd enjoyed DJing, dancing, working outside and decorating for the holidays. However, what he loved the most was spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Todd is survived by his significant other, Carol Rhoads of Hillsboro; seven children, Todd (Rachel) Cumberland, Jr. of Hillsboro, Shasta (Keith) Ford of Hillsboro, Tirrell (Skye) Cumberland of Hillsboro, Tyia Cumberland of Hillsboro, Tyeika Cumberland of Hillsboro, Tyrese Cumberland of Hillsboro and Christina (David Elliott) Rhoads of Peebles; five grandchildren, Tyrus Cumberland, Azhaliyah Cumberland, Kwamel Ford, Harlem Cumberland, and Zy’Aire Cumberland; three special grandchildren, Johnathan “Doog” Rhoads, Alena Boatrite and Hunter Profitt; four siblings, Tony (Julie) Cumberland of Hamilton, Tina Cumberland of Hillsboro, Scotty (Cheryl) Cumberland of Wilmington and Jonathan Cumberland of Hillsboro; a special friend, T.J. Scott of Hillsboro and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tyrone “Decil” Cumberland; four special aunts, Myrtle Rowe, Virginia Thomas, Brenda Coleman and Alice (Mick) Kinney; and a special uncle, Delbert Thomas.
The Cumberland Family would like to ask everyone to please wear a face covering while indoor during visitation and funeral service. Visitation will be held from 2:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday following visitation at the funeral home. Pastor Dan Lamb will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
