Thomas Rogers Wilkin, 84, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022 at the Court House Manor in Washington Court House.

He was born Sept. 17, 1938 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Heber and Martha Rogers Wilkin.

Tom had been a hairdresser in Hillsboro and had worked at Computer Stock Forms in Greenfield, retiring from UNIT Sets in Wilmington. He was a member of the Highland Lodge 38 F&AM and was a member of the United States Air Force serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

He is survived by his wife, Garnet Holt Wilkin whom he had married on April 9, 1992; one daughter, Cynthia (Mark) Asmus of Hillsboro; one stepdaughter, Noelle Warfield of Powell; one stepson, Richie (Denise) Warfield, of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Taylor (Jake) Degen, Jed (Ashley) Asmus, Ashleigh Howland, Miranda Wilkin and Kelsi Kirby; nine stepgrandchildren, Mallery Hudson, Daley Juschka, Landen Juschka, Miles Juschka, Jesse Juschka, Kayla Anderson, Madison Warfield, Heather Hafer and Eddie Hafer; and one sister, Jane (Larry) Wilson of Michigan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Terence Wilkin.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Tom Zile will officiate. Burial, with military honors presented by the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
