Teresa 'Terry' Fisher Hudson

Teresa “Terry” Fisher Hudson, 65, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly and suddenly Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024 at home.
 
She was born Jan. 14, 1959 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late James Matthew and Betty Gale (Nicely) Fisher.

Terry was a member of First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ, Wilmington and was a former member of Eastern Star. A 1977 Wilmington High School graduate, Terry attended Wilmington College and got her associate’s degree from Southern State Community College. She retired as the office manager for the Clinton County Public Defender’s Office. During her career, she had also worked at the GC Murphy Store, Bush-Cook Leasing, Bob & Carl's Grocery and the Clinton County Commissioners Office. Terry had a deep affection for animals and loved her pets.
 
Surviving are her daughter, Samantha Fransen of Wilmington; sister, Helen Dunlap of Wilmington; former husband, Mark Hudson of Wilmington; nephew, Brett (Dawn) Dunlap of Belpre; niece, Summer (Ken) Foote of Florida; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Addie, Aaron, Gwen and Harris.
 
In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Karl Dunlap.
 
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street Wilmington with Pastor Connor L. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
 
Friends will be received Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. until the time of services at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
