Sue Ann Bryan, 74, of Hillsboro, left her earthly home peacefully June 29, 2022 after a courageously long battle.

Sue was born Feb. 11, 1948 in Peebles to the late Guy and Kate (Newman) Fisher.

On July 19, 1969, she married Joe Bryan. They had two children, James Bryan, who preceded her in death on June 12, 2003; and Natalie Hovan.

She retired from Merchants National Bank after 30-plus years of service. She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, where she had made many friendships.

She loved her family and friends to the fullest. She was actively involved in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives. Her face would light up as soon as they walked in the door.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; daughter, Natalie (Tom) Hovan; brother, Dennis (Jeannie) Fisher; grandchildren, Zachary (Samantha) Bryan, Ryan (Britteny) Bryan, Catherine (Grant) Sagraves, Nikolas Bryan, Alaine Saunders, Myles Bryan and Matthew Hovan; great-grandchildren, Kailee, Noah and Ian Bryan, Layla and Avery Bryan and Hazlie and Holden Sagraves; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

In addition to her son, she was also preceded in death by both parents; and siblings, Ronald Lee Fisher, Leah Rae Wical, Roger Fisher and Marilyn Adams.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Hillsboro Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday July 5, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at the church.
