Shirley J. Schleich, 73, of Chillicothe, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 at Four Seasons of Washington Court House.
She was born Sept. 21, 1947 in Ross County, the daughter of the late John and Marie (Stewart) Depoy.
Her husband, Edwin E. Schleich, preceded her in death in 2000.
She is survived by two daughters, Sheila (Kevin) Riddle and Gene Griesheimer; grandchildren, Devin Riddle, Chelsey (Tyler) Riddle and Eden Griesheimer; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Fenneken; sisters-in-law, Vicky Clark and Becky Curtis; and several nieces and nephews, including a very close niece, Candy McCann.
Shirley was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed cooking for her family. She also attended Tabernacle Baptist.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 in the Springbank Cemetery with Gene Oliver officiating. A time of sharing will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tabernacle Baptist. Those attending the service will need to wear a face mask and observe social distancing. No public visitation will be held.
The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home in Bainbridge is serving the family.
